Source References
Source References are sources uploaded into Zero Docs. These can be from our Chrome extension, URL ingestion, or document uploads. Some sources may count for more than 1 reference depending on their size. For example, multi-page PDF documents count the number of pages. A 60k line document will count as multiple source references rather than a single reference.
Metered Overage
Sources References and Chat Messages are metered and incur overage charges when you exceed the limits included in your plan.
Source References: $0.30 per reference
Chat Messages: $0.03 per message

Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you'll have immediate access to new features and higher limits. Downgrades take effect on your next billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
For Bootstrap tier and above, exceeding your limits triggers metered billing. You'll be charged the overage rate for any additional usage. The Free tier has hard caps and will prevent usage once limits are reached.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees or hidden charges. You only pay your monthly subscription and any metered overages you incur. Cancel anytime with no penalties.
Do you offer annual plans?
Currently we bill monthly. Contact our sales team if you're interested in annual pricing or a custom enterprise plan.
